(Kewajiban dan Larangan)

Ø  Must = harus / wajib ~ obligations (kewajiban)

Ø  Must not =tidak boleh ~ prohibitions (larangan)

 

Examples:

Obligations

Ø  We must wear a uniform every day. (Kita harus menggunakan seragam setiap hari)

Ø  We have to go to school at seven o’clock. (Kita harus berangkat ke sekolah pukul 7.)

Ø  We must be clean and tidy. (Kita harus bersih dan rapi)

Prohibitions

Ø  We must not be late to school. (Kita tidak boleh telat ke sekolah.)

Ø  You must not write or draw anything on the desks. (Kamu tidak boleh menulis atau menggambar apapun di meja belajar.)

Asking for Obligations

Must we obey the school rules? (Apakah kita harus mematuhi aturan)?
